What makes christian faith unique?

There are many religions and spiritual systems and philosophies in this world. The goal of all of them is to come to God in some way. All of them? Let's look at the religions:
There is the Islam. The supporters of this religion have to do a lot to come to God. Praying seven times a day, keeping special washing ceremonies and more. But the muslims can't have saving certainity anyway. The Koran says that God is too big and unapproachable to definetly know to come to him one day. So all the work and stress could be in vain at the end.

What about the Hinduism? First of all he Hindus don't have only one God, but many thousands. They believe in fact that Brahma is the creator of everything, but also other Gods and also more powerful Gods exist (Shiva). The Hindus also believe that they have to reincarnate very often until all the evil is compensated. This system does not know any grace. So it's very hard to near God. Actually it's impossible because the spiral of the evil never ends. You can compensate bad things from former lifes. But all the new bad things will confrontate you in your next life. So this can never stop. Salvation is impossible.
Similar is the Buddhism. The buddhists also believe in reincarnation. But actually they don't have any God. All is God, is what they believe. So even the salvation must be done by yourself. But if Self-Salvation would really be possible, why are we unsaved yet? This system is kind of unlogical. If there is no God, who created everything? If we created everything by ourselfs, why did we create such a complicated way to be salvated?

And that's the really unique thing in christian faith. The human beings don't have to try their best to come to God, but God came to us! He came in the person of Jesus Christ down to our level and died for our Sins. Where else can you find that? In his grace God decided to provide a way to be reconciled with him. God knows that no human can come to him by own work or achievements because to God we are all sinners. So the only thing we deserve is to perish. But the love of God was greater. He offers a way for forgiveness to everyone. This way is Jesus Christ. Completely innocent he died on the cross. So he took all our sins. But do we get this free gift automatically? No, the key is the faith. Faith means to trust Jesus and to ask for forgiveness and to ask Jesus to be the Lord of the own life. This decision is the most important we can make. It will lead us to eternal life together with our Saviour.
