At your child's birthday party, you should get party favors for the birthday. Like other parties, the kids like to take something home when they attend birthdays. When buying the party favors for both adults and children or just for the kids, giving party gifts to everyone is a nice jesture. Its a way of saying thanks for coming to my party. It's a sign of nicety. It is the respectable thing to do.

If you as parents are giving a birthday party for their child, you should think about many different things. First, are the birthday party favor which are for your kid's friend or will you give them to adults that come? if you are giving them to adults, consider using a small statue, a picture frame with your kid's image or photograph inside of it. Or, contemplate a candle with a cute theme. Giving a personalized party favor to a grown up should be done as well. You can give them something that is worth the money, especially when you purchase them in mass form. Go ahead spend more money if you need to, go ahead.
On the other hand, you should give a party favor to your child's friends, then you have to go with all fun things. A compact goody bag is great when its filled with kid safe things. Try not to go crazy on the candy but many party warehouses will furnish very small toys, cute games and lots of fun stuff that you can include. The kids will enjoy getting a gift from your child too.
When having a small get together with your immediate family you may not need a party favor. Throwing a esteemed party, then consider one. This should be for the kids first birthday or possibly their fifth. if you are giving a large party where many people will be coming, then a party favor no matter what the age is essential, at least for proper manners.
